Peninsula Support Services Inc. is a not-for-profit and registered charitable organisation that provides Support Rehabilitation, Intensive Outreach and Home Based Outreach Services to people with mental illness who live within the areas of the Mordialloc to Portsea (Mornington Peninsula, Frankston area). The aim is to provide a safe, supportive and encouraging environment that recognises the rights and responsibilities of clients, carers, staff and other members of the community involved in the operation of our services.

Peninsula Support Services provides support to people of 16 years of age and over who are living with a serious psychiatric disability and their carers. At any given point in time, PSS provides services to approximately 280 clients.
Peninsula Support Services commenced operation in 1988. Since that time, the organisation has grown steadily and now offers a variety of services for people who have experienced difficulties with mental health. The organisation is majority funded by the Department of Human Services and maintains close links with other government and non-government agencies to ensure that clients have access to a broad range of services capable of meeting their needs.

Peninsula Support Services is committed to best practice in providing psychosocial rehabilitation and outreach services to people who have experienced difficulties with mental health. The organisation is poised to take advantage of opportunities to expand its service offerings, and enter partnerships and alliances with compatible organisations, thereby improving the efficiency and sustainability of our operations. As a consequence, more hours of service and a greater range of services will be delivered within the limited funds available.
